The Participants of the MORGAM Project

MORGAM Participating Centres (MPCs)

The study cohorts were examined at the baseline and followed up by the MPCs. Each MPC has one or several cohorts. Investigators of the MPCs also take part in the analysis of the collaborative data (See a map).

MORGAM Associate Centres

Centres carrying out studies which are cognate with MORGAM, but do not meet the requirements of the Project, can be granted Associate Membership. No central data analysis, or quality control evaluation or measures, are normally provided for Associate Centres. However, an Associate Centre may be in the position to be given full membership at a later stage.

Participating Laboratories

The DNA for the genetic case-cohort study is collected to a central laboratory, which will provide it for genetic analyses in the participating laboratories in different countries.

MORGAM Data Centre (MDC)

The baseline and follow-up data from the MPCs and the Participating Laboratories are collected to the MORGAM Data Centre, where their quality are assessed and the study database is maintained.

MORGAM Management Group (MMG)

Under the leadership of the Project Coordinator, The MMG has the overall responsibility for ensuring the success of the Project.
