The communications unit team maintains KTL's official website in Finnish, Swedish and English, delivers press releases, publishes a monthly bulletin for health care professionals and is in charge of the institute's main PR events and campaigns.

Information services team aims to contribute to the foundations of a productive research process. This includes personal guidance in information search and publishing practices, and an easy access to a wide range of electronic resources. As a new feature, the team provides researchers with technical help in desktop publishing.
