Welcome to the website of the THL Dept. of Molecular Medicine Cell Imaging Unit!
The unit is located in the 3rd floor, room A326a1, in the THL section of
Biomedicum, Haartmaninkatu 8, 00290 Helsinki, and forms part of the
Biomedicum
Cell Imaging Cluster (BCIC)
The currently available imaging
systems are a Leica TCS SP1 laser scanning
confocal fluorescence microscope and a Till-Photonics fast wide-field microscope
unit for live-cell imaging.
Access to the equipment is for trained and authorized users only. For users from
outside KTL the time windows specified in the electronic
booking system are available.
The running costs defined on the Research Agreement (see below) are charged from
the users, with whom an agreement is signed. Please contact the personnel for inquiries
on equipment- and application-specific training sessions.
