Nordic Summerschool in Methods of Infectious Disease Epidemiology (NORFA course)

Järjestetään 1.10.7 1996 Skjoldenaesholmin linnassa Sjellandissa, Tanskassa. Kurssi on tarkoitettu väitöskirjantekijöille, tutkimuksesta kiinnostuneille infektiolääkäreille ja mikrobiologeille sekä muille infektioepidemiologiasta kiinnostuneille.

The course is an introduction to the methods of research in infectious disease epidemiology. It will cover data collection / investigations of causation / infectivity / dynamics of transmission / acute and chronic outcomes.

Format: Accommodation on site, with a mixture of lectures, student presentations and practicals (e.g. computer workshops). Course organizers: Prof. Mads Melbye, Danish Epidemiology Science Centre, Statens Serum Institut, Denmark and Assoc. Prof. Johan Giesecke, SMI, Stockholm, Sweden.
