Introduction

The purpose of this form is to describe the format in which the information about access of residents of MONICA reporting units to Specialized Services and Facilities for both emergency and elective treatment of coronary heart disease is included in the MONICA Archive. Sources of information on the data collection procedures, quality of the data and summary tabulations of the data are summarised in section "Health services data component" of Part A of The MONICA Archive.
