Installation of PowerPoint 97 Viewer

Installing and using the PowerPoint Viewer from this CD-ROM on a Windows operating system:

1. Locate the file named \slideshow\ppview97.exe.
2. Make certain you close any open Windows-based programs.
3. Double-click the ppview97.exe file on the CD-ROM to start the Setup program.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. When prompted, make certain all programs are closed and restart your system.

After installing, run the viewer by pointing to Program Files on the Start menu, and clicking Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer. Browse to the slideshow directory on this CD-ROM and then click the relevant presentation file (.pps). Click Show.
