:: Helsinki Carriage Workshop 2007 (HCW07)

The PneumoCarr consortium organizes a workshop on nasopharyngeal carriage of pneumococci on June 27-29, 2007 in Kirkkonummi, Finland with funding generously provided by the Global Health Program of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The workshop aims to bring together researchers and research groups with an interest on pneumococcal colonization and its analysis through statistical and mathematical modelling. The workshop is intended to provide a forum for interactive, participatory, exchange of ideas, approaches, and solutions rather than a forum for formal presentations of submitted abstracts as is most commonly done at other meetings.
