The Place and weather

The workshop takes place in Saariselkä, Finnish Lapland. The weather will be most likely chilly, even the maximum temperatures have can be below zero Celsius. For outdoor activities we encourage participants to take proper outdoor clothes.

Accommodation

The workshop hotel will be hotel Gielas. The rooms will be superior class rooms on a local scale and include for instance a personal sauna in every room. The rooms are equipped with internet connection.

Flights

The flights are to Ivalo, airport code IVL. On Mon-Thu there is only one daily flight from Helsinki, departure 10.25 (Finnair). On Friday (Dec 4) there are two flights to helsinki: 13.30 and 19.30.
