All the researchers of the SYTTY projects and all other interested in the topic
are kindly welcome to the SYTTY 2 -symposium.
The aim of this scientific meeting is to present the progress of the SYTTY projects
and an overview of the results obtained so far.

SYTTY 2 is organized by the coordination of the Finnish Research Programme on Environmental Health.


 
PROGRAM

The length of an oral presentation is 20 minutes, including discussion. Audiovisual aids include overhead-, slide and dataprojectors. If you'll need slide- or dataprojector, please contact the conference staff during the preceding break.
 


 
LIST OF POSTERS

The maximum dimensions for the posters are 100 cm x 140 cm (width x height). Those presenting a poster are kindly asked to stay in the vicinity of it during the poster sessions (Wednesday at 16.40-18.00 and Thursday at 10.10-11.10).
 


 
ABSTRACTS

All SYTTY financed projects are requested to submit an extended abstract by January 31, 2000.

VENUE - HOW TO GET THERE

The symposium venue is VALKEA TALO, located in Pohjois-Haaga (Ilkantie 4), about 7 km from the centre of Helsinki.

Busses 40, 41, 43 and 43B leave at the main bus station of Helsinki, and M-, L- and E-trains (from the railway station) to Huopalahti with a short walking distance to Valkea Talo.

Bus transportation (free) will be arranged for those SYTTY researchers coming from Kuopio. (Bus schedule: March 28 Kuo-Hki: 16.00-21.00; March 30 Hki-Kuo: 16.30-21.30).
SYTTY will reimburse the travelling costs of maximum of two SYTTY researchers per project coming from elsewhere on the basis of public transportation (train, bus). Those participants are kindly asked to arrange their travelling to Helsinki themselves.


 
ACCOMMODATION

Information of accommodation in Helsinki.

SYTTY will pay the accommodation cost of maximum of two SYTTY researchers per project (project located outside of Helsinki). Participants are accommodated in double rooms in Hotel Haaga (Nuijamiestentie 10).
